Vacant Master and PhD positions in Biorefineries in Mexico 2021

Join us as Master and PhD students to work on biorefineries using lignocellulosic and aquatic biomass.

We want to inform you that the Science and Food Technology Postgraduate Program has Master and PhD student positions available in Biorefinery Group (www.biorefinerygroup.com) and (Biorefinery Pilot Plant) at Autonomous University of Coahuila in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.

This information might be of great interest to your students that want to pursue a Master or PhD as next step in their career. We would be grateful if you could bring this information under the attention of potential candidates.

We are looking for excellent and highly motivated candidates with an interest in Bioprocess Engineering, Biorefinery concept, Circular Bioeconomy for the production of high added-value compounds and biofuels from lignocellulosic and aquatic (micro and macro – algae) biomass: (Fermentation strategies, Hydrothermal (autohydrolysis)processing/pretreatment – biomass fractionation, Process intensification, Mathematical modeling of enzymatic hydrolysis, Bioreactor design, Oligomers production from hemicellulose, Lignin extraction by organosolv, enzyme production and and operation in a pilot plant for biomass fractionation), green processing and extraction technologies, food technology, starting in August 2021.
