We are looking for excellent and highly motivated candidates with an interest in Bioprocess Engineering, Biorefinery concept, Circular Bioeconomy for the production of high added-value compounds and biofuels from lignocellulosic and aquatic (micro and macro – algae) biomass: (Fermentation strategies, Hydrothermal (autohydrolysis)processing/pretreatment – biomass fractionation, Process intensification, Mathematical modeling of enzymatic hydrolysis, Bioreactor design, Oligomers production from hemicellulose, Lignin extraction by organosolv, enzyme production and and operation in a pilot plant for biomass fractionation), green processing and extraction technologies, food technology, starting in August 2021.
