Dr. Héctor A. Ruiz was interviewed by national news – 2017
The scientific journal BioEnergy Research of the Springer publishing published a special issue entitled Bioenergy in Mexico in 2016, which was presented in the city of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico in 2017, with the aim of disseminating knowledge and presenting research developed in Mexico on the subject of bioenergy.
“The idea is that the entire Mexican scientific community in this area continue to develop their projects and publish them, this gives us a perspective of the scientific and technological advance that these developments may have in the country”, commented Dr. Héctor Arturo Ruiz Leza, editor of the special issue of Bioenergy in Mexico”.
This special issue was a collaboration with Dr. Alfredo Martínez from the Institute of Biotechnology at Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM), who also served as guest editor. This special issue was within the activities of the Mexican Thematic Network in Mexico, being Dr. Agustín Jaime Castro from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo responsible for this network.
