The project was born 10 years ago, in the laboratories of the Faculty of Chemistry Sciences at the Autonomous University of Coahuila, in the Food Research Department , where the first experiments to produce biofuels began to be created.
There, Dr. Héctor Arturo Ruiz Leza heads a biorefinery group that has found a growth niche in the area of new energies.
“And more so now that the price of gasoline increased at the beginning of the year, this indicates that something is happening with fossil fuels in the country and that we must prepare to take the next step,”
